• Sponsor will receive featured Banner placement in the lobby/foyer at the front of Exit Art, in the room

Alex “Rocky” Ramniceanu
Possessing an encyclopedic knowledge of all genres of music, with a strong focus on electronic dance music Bios
spanning 15 years, Alex "Rocky" Ramniceanu is one of the original founders of Global Frequencies. More
than 10 years of combined experience in entertainment marketing, event production, finance, and design
(ranging from international commodities trading at Morgan Stanley to managing nationwide marketing
campaigns and international film festivals at an entertainment marketing firm) have truly given Rocky a
unique skill set. Additionally, several years of event production experience for high-end clients such as David
Yurman, Porsche, and the Classic Car Club Manhattan to management and execution of nationwide
campaigns for Absolut Vodka and Lavalife have provided Rocky un-paralleled creative perspective,
passionate drive for excellence and a no-nonsense approach to the bottom-line. Rocky views the electronic
dance music scene/industry as a unique, distinctive culture/lifestyle, with a sincere love for its defining
characteristics that is deep-rooted and tied to the core of his personality.
David Choi
A graduate of New York University with degrees in Economics and Anthropology, David’s experiences have
taken him on the many highs and lows of the Internet industry since 1997. After raising 4 million dollars in
1999 for an Internet software startup, in 2002, he raised significant funding again and went on to start an
online merchandising website specializing in the sale of authentic licensed sports apparel of the
NBA/NFL/MLB. His work experience also includes technology consulting and being the Senior Technology
Auditor for billion dollar firms in the automotive, financial, and pharmaceutical industries. All the while, his
penchant for electronic music has driven him to a strong commitment and dedication to Global Frequencies.
With all his professional work experience, and being an accomplished writer, spoken word (poetry) artist,
dancer and Karaoke singer, not only does he bring with him a strong stern sense of business, but also a
whimsical, loving energy that has adds cohesiveness to the group.
Shaun O’ Farrell
Shaun is a seasoned media professional who has risen the ranks as both a buyer and seller within the
television, online and mobile sectors. He currently serves as Director of Sales at Millennial Media, the
leading mobile ad network in the US, selling full service mobile display advertising initiatives across
Millennial’s premium mix of publishers to major ad agencies nationwide. Prior to joining Millennial Media,
Shaun was Manager of Strategic Sales Development at Datran Media, selling Datran’s behaviorally targeted
email and display solutions and working closely with Datran’s CRO to establish sales strategies to the
agency marketplace.
For over 5 years prior, Shaun served as Manager of National Broadcast at Anheuser Busch’s Busch Media
Group, managing Sports and Latino media budgets totaling in excess of $200 million annually. Shaun
started his media career in advertising sales at ESPN/ABC Sports, where he negotiated cross platform deals
totaling in excess of $100 Million from clients such as Nike, McDonalds, Universal Pictures, Unilever and
