Viridian Independent Associate!!! You have chosen to start your own business and create a recession proof residual income helping people save money over time, and helping the environment on a service people use and pay for every month with no overhead and no inventory!!!! It is you who will create your success and your support team will help guide you every step of the way!! Now Lets Get Started!!!! Getting Started DO NOT talk to or email anyone about this business until you have completed your 2-1-1 training with your sponsor or up team. Even though you think you understand everything and feel you have a pretty good handle on it... YOU DONT, not yet but you will... see steps below: The most common mistake people make when they first get involved in this business is they want to tell everyone about their new business right away. Everyone is excited when they get involved in this business because they see it. Not everyone will have the same level of excitement as you and if you overload them with information they definitely wont see it. When you overload them with your enthusiasm and information you will lose them. This business is designed to always use a tool which has already been created for success Many of us made this mistake when we first started so please listen when we say this... please wait to approach your friends, family, neighbors, business associates, etc. until after you are trained. This is VERY IMPORTANT! REMEMBER ... FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE LASTING IMPRESSIONS!!!! You can be very effective and ready to grow a successful Viridian business after your 2-1-1 training. This training should take place within 72 hours of becoming an associate. Give yourself this time to learn your new business and go out there and establish the correct first impression!! Before you start the pre- 2-1-1 presentation make sure you set up your 2-1-1 game plan meeting with your sponsor or up team. This should be done within 72 hours of enrolling as a Viridian associate First 72 Hours ( Getting Started, pre 2-1-1 meeting ) 1. Log into your back office by going to www.viridian.com, click on associate login, then enter the username and password that you set up when you enrolled as an associate. If for some reason you forgot this information it is in the welcome email Viridian sent after you enrolled. Click on the link that says Get Certified Today 2. Take Viridian University ( to become certified you must watch and pass the quiz for each video that has the word required in red next to it ), when you have completed all required videos you will receive a certificate confirming you are now certified 3. Set up your payoneer account if you didn't sign up when you registered to be an associate ( in your back office under profile, edit profile, banking ). You can choose to use the debit card or direct deposit ( $2 per transaction fee ) 4. Order business cards ( www.shopviridian.com ) make sure you put your email address, contact number, new Viridian website and the website for the Viridian business overview, www.viridianpresentation.info 5. Watch the video series at Viridian University called first things first ( to get to Viridian University go to your back office and click on the Viridian University tab in the middle of the screen ) 6. Use Viridian contact list form and write down all contacts ( everyone you know or have ever met ) from your phone, facebook, linkedin, email and business cards ( use attached memory jogger to help you with the process ). Label the contacts as A, B, or C. An A. contact is someone you want in your initial Business Partner Meeting (BPM), usually 5-10 people. A B. contact is someone you respect and has potential to be successful and you would invite to your initial Private Business Webinar (PBW). C. contacts are anyone else you know or have met that you would like to be your customer especially people who you have been a customer of in the past ( if your not sure if you want to build a business with them you can always approach them about being an associate after they become a customer, but never prejudge anyone as it is ultimately their decision if they dont want to be an associate not yours ). Circle the top 10 A prospects and top 20 B prospects, bring the list with you to your 2-1-1 meeting with your sponsor or up team to discuss and strategize your 30 in 30 7. Similar to if you invested in a Dunkin Donuts franchise you would want everyone to know where your location was and when your grand opening was going to be Your list should be with you at all times and updated on a daily basis, it is very important that you use the attached contact list form ( print out at least 10 of them ) and begin writing down all of your contacts You should not remove someone from your list until they say yes, as when they say no that means not now. Remember there is a good chance in the next 3-5 years most people will choose an alternative energy supplier, so make sure they are in your business Use the memory jogger in this packet ( which should include anyone you have done business with or given money to for business ) as well as get all of your contacts out of your phone, rolodex and also on your facebook and linkedin account.
