JNU MA Economics Entrance

A new and unique Master's programme (M.A.) in Economics was
introduced by the department in 1995/96. Keeping in mind the
changing economic environment of India and its growing integration
with the global economy, this new M.A. programme was designed
with a clear emphasis on emerging global issues like trade,
technology, environment, natural resources, currency and finance,
regulatory economics, information economics, which makes it
unique and distinct from conventional M.A. programmes in
economics offered elsewhere in India.

Admissions Procedure: The admission to the programme is through
an all-India written test. The test is intended to evaluate the
knowledge of candidates in micro-economics, macro-economics,
mathematics, and statistics and some related subjects such as public
economics and economic development.
IGIDR MSc Economics Entrance

This is a two-year programme, which imparts students with a
rigorous and hands-on training in Economics, with special emphasis
on analytical and problem solving skills as well as exposure to
emerging policy issues at the national and international levels. This
programme involves a successful completion of either 16 courses or
15 courses and a Masters thesis. It is aimed at all those with
necessary quantitative prerequisites who would like to be grounded
in economic analysis.

Eligibility: Minimum qualification for admission to M.Sc. programme
include one of the following degrees or their equivalents: B.A. /
B.Sc. in Economics / B.Com. / B.Stat. / B.Sc. (Physics or Mathematics)
/ B.Tech./B.E. with at least a Second Division for Economics Discipline
and First Division for other disciplines.
ISI MS Economics Entrance

For M.S.(Q.E.) programme admission is based on academic record,
performance in written selection tests and subsequent interview.

Eligibility: Three-year Bachelors degree in Economics/
Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics OR B.Stat. degree from the Indian
Statistical Institute OR Engineering degree. (Candidates should have
knowledge of Economics and Mathematics at the B.A./ B.Sc. pass
level.)

Scope: Academic/research career in Statistics, Mathematics,
Economics, Computer Science and allied fields. Lucrative job
opportunities through campus interview.
DSE MA Economics Entrance

Delhi School of Economics (DSE) offers full time 2 years M.A.
Economics programme.

Eligibility: BA/BSc (Hons) in Economics and the Other Degrees from
Indian Universities: A course shall be treated as an Honours course
only if it contains at least 55% marks of the total marks in respect of
papers in Economics. This means economics papers must have a
weightage of at least 55% of the aggregate of all subjects.

Examination Centers: All examination centers will be on the North
Campus of University of Delhi. The details about the centers will be
made available at www.econdse.org a few days ahead of the date of
entrance examination.
