FANJ was created on May 16th, 1994 according to Statutes accredited before the Ministry of Justice of Cuba as:
A Civil, Non Governmental, autonomous, cultural and scientific not for profit Organization, with the capacity to have its own heritage, rights and obligations under the current Cuban legal Framework.

Key Messages We work for an environmental culture that promotes harmony between society and its surroundings. Everyone can do something to improve the Environment. Biodiversity conservation most happen in parallel with improvement of communities living conditions. Environmental communication should have a high educational value. It is necessary to bring back Nature to cities, schools and community spaces. Nature is everywhere and we are all part of it. The environment should be approached in a holistic and systemic way.
