If in a positive sentence we find the same predicate, then
we should use the word "too" or "so" which means "well.
Example:
He is busy. I am busy
(= He is busy and I am too)
(= He is busy and so am I)

Mary is beautiful. You are beautiful
(= Mary is beautiful and you are too)
(= Mary is beautiful and so are you)



1. POSITIVE Elliptic

My brother cans swim well. You can swim well
(= My brother cans swim well and you can too)
(= My brother cans swim well and so can you)

Alex Buys a new car. Henry Buys a new car.
(= Alex Buys a new car and Henry does too)
(= Alex Buys a new car and so does Henry)

Jack Went to Bali yesterday. William Went to Bali
yesterday.
(= Jack Went to Bali yesterday and William did too)
(= Jack Went to Bali yesterday and so did William)


When in a negative sentence we find the same predicate,
then we should use the word "Either" or "neither"
which means "not":
Edy does not like mango. George does not like mango.
(= Edy does not like mango and George does not Either)
(= Edy does not like mango and neither does George)

She never comes here. He never comes here.
(= She never comes here and he does not Either)
(= She never comes here and neither does he)

What is Gerund and
Infinitives???
Gerund
Gerund is the verb-(ing) which the function as noun.
In the gerund sentences, can as subject, object,
and object of preposition.

Gerund as subject.
V-ing + verb + complement

Example:
Jogging can make us healthy
Your singing is very beautiful

Gerund as Object
There are some verbs which followed by gerund. They are:

Example :
1. It is used as the subject of the sentence :
a. To obey the law is everyones duty.

c. To complain about the matter is useless

2. It is used after adjectives
a. I am happy to meet you.
b. He is sure to come.
c. We are sorry to hear the news.


3. It is used as the object or complement of the
verbs
