poor community, it needs to change its agro based

Export outreach is very limited so far.

Signing a MOC with Export Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) on


2005 has been the last significant movement in that front

Non perishable products of India such as Handicrafts, dairy


products, fisheries have a huge market outside the country.

As

the Business operations scale up, BASIX should concentrate on

the promotion of export-oriented livelihoods among the


economically-active rural and urban poor households as well as
among small enterprises.
