Backward Integration

Making use of IoBMs strong infrastructure and set up


School/College programs.
These will allow IoBM to define a standard right from
the onset and improve upon its Strength of Quality of
Students.
Will immensely help IoBM in further strengthening its
brand name in the market.

Strategy 3
Market Penetration

Conduct seminars based on industry research


conducted by the students of IoBM.
Invite professionals from the industry so that they
have increased awareness about Student's skills
Making use of IoBMs strong alumni base and strong
community networks.
Will immensely help IoBM in further strengthening its
brand positioning in the market.

Strategy 4
Market Development

Karachi is one of the largest cities.


Single campus and its location is a weakness that
needs to be addressed through this strategy.
Beyond Karachi, IoBM can go for a larger national
market by opening campuses in Lahore and
Islamabad.
IoBM can extend to international markets, giving it
the exposure needed for grooming professionals for
this age of globalization.

Product Development
Quality of Students is a strength.
Globalization and International affiliations are
opportunities.
IoBM can work on grading to be of standards so that
student transfers ( with credit hours) are seamless.
Ties with international universities paving way for offshore higher education and research programs for
students of IoBM.

Strategy 6
Related Diversification
Karachi is a rapidly developing market with international
food and shopping franchises.
These businesses need trained young men and women
for sales, waiting, management and keeping, etc.
IoBMs current campus sits on the edge that connects
these people to their work places.
IoBM can turn one of its weaknesses, Location, into a
major strength by offering short term technical training
and learning programs.
