Purpose
Upgrade from version v12.0.980 to v12.1, the new version adds new
clinical functionality for various improvements:
Clinical assessments
CPOE improvements
EDIS enhancement
Interface expansion
Medication reconciliation improvements
Pharmacy management P
Physician documentation
Prescription writer
Reference masters
Rules engine
Web station for physicians
Financial performance enhancements
Key Accomplishments
980 Supplement to be installed at all sites. which subsequently
pushed out Go Live to sites by two weeks.
12.1.1 Load to Test installed at LAP, MGL, and CMI.
Integrated Testing at LAP started 11/24.

EDIS Pilots and Deployment

Pilot
The EDIS Pilot will include functionality to enable a more efficient ED
workflow.

Key Accomplishments
Deployed at Lapeer, along with ePrescribe.
Performed project plan, scope of work, identified Task Force.
Task assignments completed, resources identified, project plan
approved.
LAP EDIS Update: 48 Templates in production, 2 in process, 10 more
to complete. Expected completion date 12/12/2014 with no
projected issues.
OAK EDIS implementation suspended pending further review. Meeting
on 5 December to discuss direction.
Timeline for MGL and CMI was reviewed by EDIS task force.

Physician Documentation

The pilot was restarted on 7/15. Lapeer, Oakland, CMI, and MGL went
Live on 7/15/14, 7/29/14, 09/03/14, and 09/30/14, respectively.
Lapeer has a number of workstations with Dragon VR. CMI represents
discharges only.

Adoption rates of
application are growing
at LAP, MGL, and OAK,
but level at CMI.
Template expansion
occurred in Nov 2014

Physician Documentation (Cont)

Progress notes are primarily used at all sites with the exception of CMI,
and consultation notes being the second most used template at 3 of the
5 sites. Discharge notes are primarily used at CMI with H&P data
following.
