HOW
1. Learners are supplied with copies of the
company policies and procedures
regarding stacking and storing as well as
the operation of forklifts
2. Learners list the various forklifts and what
loads each can carry
3. A discussion / demonstration of the basic
functions and operations of forklifts is
facilitated
4. Learners individually undertake an
inspection of the operation of forklifts and
identify all potential hazards
5. Recommendations are made to reduce /
avoid these hazards and the impact of
possible hazards.
6. A short report on the recommendations is
drafted.
