Compact significantly less expensive than Sentinel.

Compact is not intended as a replacement for

Sentinel and logger but as another tool to
accomplish Shock pulse monitoring and trending.

SPM Shock Pulses

Pressure waves, generated by rolling
elements and the raceway.
Measured by transducer which amplifies the
shock signal and filters out machine
vibration.
Pattern consists of a rapid sequence of
strong and weak pulses
dBc decibel carpet - the large number of
relatively weak shock pulses
dBm ( decibel max) - few strong pulses in
the pattern
