How effective is the

combination of your

The combination of my short film and my film poster is

reasonably effective, due to how they correspond with
one another.

The film poster depicts a key moment from the film,

in which the main character discovers the phone. This
will promote the short film, as the film poster includes
the futuristic technology within the film, which the
audience will want to find out more about. The poster
doesnt reveal too much about the technology or
what it can do, thus arousing interest in the film from
the audience.
The film poster depicts the main character in the
centre and in clear view. Due to this, the audience will
be able to connect with them further and identify
them as the protagonist, thus engaging with them
and their journey when they watch the short film.
The main colours used on the poster are blue, which
also matches the main colour of the device. This will
ensure that the audience associate the device and
the colours together, thus becoming slightly more
familiarised with it when watching the film.

The main image of the review shows a still of a key moment from the
film, as well as one of the main uses of special effects. There is also a
small annotation that briefly describes the image, but doesnt reveal
any detail about the plot. This arouses interests in the audience to
watch the film to find out more.
The review starts with a brief overview of the plot, but doesnt reveal
any explicit details about the events that take place. Due to this, the
audience will be more willing and interested to watch the short film in
order to find out more about the plot and characters.
The review describes some of the positives and negatives of the short
film, talking about the strengths and weaknesses of the film. This way,
the audience can identify whether they will be interested in the short
film or not. For example, they may have a particular interest in short
films that use special effects, so will be more inclined to watch it as it
is a key feature described as a strength during the review.
The review included a short summary and a star rating, which is
positive in its tone overall. This will mean that the reader will be more
interested in watching the short film, as the review is more positive
than negative about it.
