User Guide

Installation

1. Install Actix GA10 Build 4.05.175.140, click AtxInst

2. Install Software with default settings. Don't run software after installation.
3. Copy "lservrc" and "Analyzer.exe" into following folder:
C:\Program Files\Actix\Analyzer\Bin\
4. Copy "lservrc" into following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Actix\Analyzer\Bin
5. run "edgespro11.exe"; In "edgespro11.exe":
5.1. go to tab "keygen"
5.2. In "Dongle Type" choose "Sentinel"
5.3. In "License Validity" set "Starts at" and "ends at" dates;
5.4. Click "Generate"; Copy the Code shown in the lower part of the window.
5.5. don't close this application now

Installation

6. run "SENTEMUL2007.exe"; In "SENTEMUL2007.exe":

6.1. go to tab "Driver"; Click "Install Driver" button
6.2. go to tab Emulator"; Paste the code you have copied in step 5.4 in the
"License" box
6.3. Click "Start Service"
6.4. go to tab "Dongles"; Click the button "Load Dump" and choose the file
"actix_full.dng"
6.5. go to tab " Emulator "; you see a code in the box under title "Licensed
Dongles"; Copy that
7. Go to "edgespro11.exe" and go to tab "Keygen"
7.1. Paste the code you have copied in the Left & down box (left-down)
8. Install WindowsXP-Windows2000-Script56-KB917344-x86-enu
9. Everything is finished and now you can run ACTIX program from it's
shortcut on desktop

Start Application

Binning

Binning is a procedure in which several point/plot are grouped into a function

(distance, location or time) unit
Binning Setting (Location 5x5m)
Tools>Preferences>Binning

Load Logfile

Start to post processing logfile

File>Open Logfile

Mobile Station Configuration

Logfile 0208_25.log
Logfile 0207_17.log

A Logfile consist of information from 3 Mobile Station:

MS1 for Idle Mode
MS2 for Dedicated Mode
MS3 for GPRS Data

Superstream

Superstream is process to merge several logfile

Tools>Create Superstream

Information Collect (MS1-Idle)

Open Superstream, MS1

From MS1-Idle, we will get information of :

Serving Cell Parameter ServCI and

Downlink Measurement ServRxLevIdle

Information Collect (MS2-Dedicated)

Open Superstream, MS2

From MS2-Dedicated, we will get information of :
Serving Cell Parameter ServCI and
Downlink Measurement ServRxQualSub
Event Data GSM_Call_Setup_Time

Open Superstream, MS3

From MS3-GPRS, we will get information of :
Application Measurement App_Throughput_DL

Plot to MapInfo

Save Workbook

Save parameter export (for example:ServCI-Idle) as workbook (.xls) to open

in MapInfo

Open MapInfo Software

File > Open, filetype .xls
