The document discusses Dwight D. Eisenhower's view that every dollar spent on war means fewer resources for those in need, as war consumes money, labor, science, and hopes. It argues that war hangs humanity upon an "iron cross" and is not a true way of life. The following discussion summarizes several active modern wars, including in Syria, Pakistan, Libya, and Ukraine, noting their origins and ongoing nature. It questions why humanity continues waging war despite experiences showing its dangers. The reasons given are that some governments use lives and histories to pursue power, territory, and wealth rather than national interests, and that military resources make war the most prepared-for option. The discussion concludes that peace, not war

Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every
rocket fired signifies in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. This is not a way of life at all in any true sense. Under the clouds of war, it is humanity hanging on a cross of iron. Dwight D. Eisenhower

The war is the phenomen that is known by
humanity from ancient history. So, why if we have so many experience and people know that the wars are dangerous, we still fight?
The Reasons Why We Can't Stop Making War
1. 2.
We wage war because we think we're good.
We wage war because we've already devoted so many of our resources to it. It's what we're most prepared to do. The military-industrial complex is a well-oiled, extremely profitable machine and the armed forces, our favorite child, the one we've lavished the most resources and praise upon.
The main reasons
Some governs or some great powers have their own interets and they use the life of people, the history of nations to defend their wishes for power ,reachness or theritory. People think that they are fighting for country or for their nations, but they just fight for someones interest.
Nobody must decide if we are in war or not.
If we dont want war..than we must make peace. IT could be more useful to fight for peace, than to make war for it.
