RT 1 : LOVING YOUR CHI

1. Give your child love and affection

little encouragement, appreciation, approval or even a
smile can go a long way to boost their confidence and wellbeing of your children
2. Listen to them (needs and wants)
create an atmosphere in which your children can come to
you with a problem, iether big or small
3. Make time for your children
4. Praise them
make a habit of praising your children at least three times.

PART 2 : BEING A
GOOD DISPLINARIAN

1. Enforce reasonable rules

Your child should love you more than he fears your rules
2. Control your temper as much as you can
Avoid harsh forms of punishment, ridiculous stringent
punishments for minor infractions, or anything that
physically hurting your child.
3. Be consistent
It's important to enforce the same rules all the time, and to
resist your child's attempts to manipulate you into making
exceptions.
4. Be united front with your spouse
it's important that your children think of you as a united
front as two people who will both say "yes" or "no" to the
same things
they will have to learn to think for themselves sometime

1. Teach your children to be independent

Teach them right from wrong when they are young
let your children figure things out for themselves
2. Be a good role model
You don't have to be a perfect person, but you should strive
to do as you want your children to do
3. Respect your childs privacy
Respect their privacy as you would want them to respect
yours
Example : if you teach your child that your room is out of
boundary to them, respect the same with their room
4. Allow your kids to experience life for themselves
they must learn how to live with the consequences from the
choices they make
5. Dont place unreasonable expectations on your child

CONCLUSION

For my conclusion , I strongly believe that in order to

become a
good parent, a parent should have having great love and
caring for his children, being a good model, and having a
good method of educating. These three main
qualities.Which are however, there are many other qualities
that a good parent should have such as patience,
sensitiveness, good cooking, etc. Before I end my speech , I
hope
that all of you can be a good parent.
