networks with their Partners through the IP/MPLS network
of more than 100 PoPs around the world, always providing a
PoP close to the customer premises for any data transport
and, in the case of roaming, they can enjoy the services as
offered on the network back home. It also includes the proxy
function for DNSs queries which are fully private and do not
interact with the public Internet domain name systems,
guaranteeing this way total safety for Customer
communications. The service offers a variety of
functionalities such as Roaming Signalling Transport (that
allows mobile operators to access their GPRS applications
abroad), MMS over GPRS (bilateral transport of MMS),
Roaming WAN (international access to the service) and IMS
Interworking (transportation of IMS roaming traffic between
different operator networks).

This service is part of the IPX Suite of services developed for

RIM access or other ASP (Application Service Provider). The
service guarantees the transport layer and connectivity with
high service quality as defined by the GSMA. It also offers the
necessary infrastructures to access to RIM, focusing on the
