Installing ESXi
You must have the ESXi 5.0 ISO file on CD or DVD media.
Boot from the CD or DVD to start the ESXi installer.
Make sure that you select a disk that is not formatted with VMware
vSphere VMFS.
Choose a volume
that has not been
formatted with
VMFS.
