Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Job Duties:

Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive

maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and
production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's
instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for
problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power
tools; examining form and texture of parts.
Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules,
calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb
bobs, and straightedges.
Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance
techniques; monitoring compliance.

My full name is anderson fabian cardenas velasco I am 19 years old, I live in bosa san jose
neighborhood, I am from Bogota, Colombia. I went to instituto bomberos high school. I graduated in
21-12-2010.I am currently studying industrial machinery mechanic at SENA. I am in 3 trimester, I
study from 6:00 a:m to 6:00 pm. My schedule is on Mondays: comunication and English, on
Tuesday electrics, on Wednesday preventive maintenace, on Friday machine then I study, for the
sake of my career My favorite class is class machanize because I like welding and repairing
gadgets and devices, I like industrial mechanic maintenace because to life like me ah . In the near
future I plan to work for and important company such and GMC I would like to work as maitenance I
dont mind working shifts. I can stand heavy and challenging positions. I consider myself creative,
friendly, easy going, open to challenging jobs and ready to work in difficult areas, I am very
organized and I like to work under high pressure environments, I can work in any field related to
industrial
