CONFUCIANISM
Confucianism is not a religion but it means more to teaching

moral philosophy to enhance and maintain the human ethics.


Tian in the context of the belief in Confucianism means the
highest principle of the universe. Confucianism is a political
doctrine that includes philosophy, religious and sociopolitical. The main principle in the teaching of Confucianism
is the moral and noble nature, especially about the dreadful,
inhumane (ren), propriety (li) and obedience to parents (xiao).
The great poet of Confucianism, Mencius (372 BC -289 BC),
thought at birth man had four good nature of humanity (ren),
fairness (yu), propriety (li) and wisdom (zhi).

Loyalty is the same as filial piety on a different basis, between the

government and the minister. It is particularly relevant to social class


most students Confucius, because the only way for young people aspiring
to improve their chances in the world to enter the Confucian civil service
administration.
Confucius has supported sensitivity to the political truth about class
relations that existed in his day. He believes that "the power to make it
right", but the higher it is that has received the "Mandate of Heaven" to be
observed because of its moral rectitude.
However, the subsequent, more emphasis is to the responsibility of the
governed to the government, and not the responsibility of government to
the governed.

Loyalty to country based on piety and

devotion is an important factor in the


maintenance of the state, so that the welfare
state can be achieved.

Confucianism is a Chinese philosophy that considers the

family as the primary and fundamental institutions.


Confucius emphasized in this regard that the family is the
foundation of social life and the life of the country. Harmony
and order of the community and country can be felt if every
family living in harmony ink based on filial piety (xiao).
The aim of the exercise is to strengthen the unity of devotion
and guarantee family unity. Consecrated in fact is homage
children to the elderly. Filial piety is the moral basis of
family relationships that drive and determine the attitudes
and behavior of people in the family.

Filial piety will form someone to has the

attitude of cooperation, responsibility, and


loyalty to parents and families, so that
harmony and family unity is assured.
Filial piety can also align the principles of
human relations as Yin Yang, which is due to
anyone who can establish itself as a great
man. Devotion to one's country means loyalty
to the nation.
It is also the basis of all moral behavior.
