THESIS
Consists of research design and design
implementation wherein the proponents can
innovate a certain system that will contribute to
the improvement of it.

ABSTRACT
Car parking system has two types, the traditional and
automated parking system. Adversaries such as
inconvenient parking options, confusing parking policies,
time consuming slot discovery, and everything else that
causes traffic congestion, most of these can be mended
through the implementation of smart parking. Smart
parking involves the usage of sensors, real-time data
collection, and mobile phone enabled monitoring. The
project will be designed and made especially to search
and provide the closest parking lot with respect to the
area specified by the user which will be available in
advance. The application has three modules. The first
module is the Parking lot system with security features,
wherein ultrasonic sensors will be used for the provision
of slot availability to the database. The second module is
the utilization of Image Processing and Database
management. The third module is the Application,

OBJECTIVE
To develop a system that can easily
determine available parking spaces in
parking lot areas using the mobile
application and to provide the very
specific slot for the user to park the
car.

PRIOR ART
System and method for identifying parking spaces for a
community of users
ABSTRACT
A mobile communications device includes a locator unit to
receive and process information regarding a current location
for the mobile communications device, a parking status
determination unit to determine a parking status for the
device based on at least changes in the current location, and a
communication unit to forward the parking status to a parking
community processor. A method includes determining a
parking status of a vehicle associated with a person as a
function of movement of a personal mobile communications
device.
