Purpose

Let the quality inspection staff from ZTE or ZTE partner

company understand the requirement on site engineering
quality check and photo-taking as well as the appraisal
comparison method.

1.Requirement on the site photo-taking

50 photos/site is the minimum required number to reflect the

real status of one complete site. And the exact photo-spots
are illustrated in the following slides.
Notice on the site checksetting the photo size/pixel

The photo size/pixel is 1M ,like 1024*768 or 1280*960.

The date and displayed date setting should be ready beforehand
(YYYYMMDD .
It is not recommended to use the mobile phone camera due to the
limited pixel, but in case the pixel setting is adjusted to the
satisfactory level or under special environment ( like the standard
camera is not allowed to use in the equipment room), it is still can be
applied.

dont

Dont modify the original picture file name.

Dont include/minimize the other equipment or items which are not
related to the check items.

2.explanation on the engineering quality check table

I t must be known to all inspection staff )

please use the latest version of the engineering quality

check table
The check table can be downloaded from the following
path ecc.zte.com.cn--TSM>after sale
documentation>procedure and regulation
documentation>quality management

3.Site check sequence and photo spots

Site photo spots The following information can be reflected from the photos:
complete site lay-out
Site type ( green field, roof top, indoor or shelter, outdoor, urban and less
populated area)
CAF type DG set, tower, shelter and lay-out)
others civil foundation, fence, gate, ground status
Equipment installation (rack arrangement, fixture and cables lay-out, labels ,
DC/AC distributors , cable tray , grounding bar, Air conditioner , fire
extinguisher
Grounding manner( indoor equipment, inner/outer grounding bar, earthing pit,
metallic structure grounding
AC supplying manner aerial suspension , ground buried, duct-laying,
transformer, power distributors )
Site environment
Highlights and problematic points
More details can be perceived through zooming in/out upon the photos such as
the cable joints, label marking.

4 -5 pcs of photos should be taken around the building or shelter including the covered
area which are related to the quality check like the area underneath the shelter
The enclosure wall/fence and gate can also be checked and pictured( turn key project.

7. The collection and transfer of the check table and

photo documentation, file condensation

The site photo should be archived as per the site directory . Documentation and
the proof pictures can be archived separately under specific directory. The photo
should be kept with the displayed data without any modification.
The site photo should be archived as per the site directory under the general
project directory which is named after the specific project which include the site
subdirectory and related tables. Transfer can be done after file condensation. In
case the file size is too big to be transferred ( more than 50M), more
subdirectories can be created like project subdirectory 1, 2,3 and transferred
separately. The folder structure is recommended as following:
folder-- --XX engineering quality check results including X sites --subdirectory ---XX engineering project XX site --- site photos

The file can also be transferred as per the site subdirectory marked with exact
project name in case of poor networking conditions.

In case the file can not be uploaded due to very poor networking condition, the
software copy can be taken by the colleagues to After Sale Quality Dept. Located
on the 31st floor of the Shenzhen R & D building or uploaded domestically by the
said colleagues.
It is recommended the photos be condensed before archiving and transferring .
The xat.com Image Optimizer P can be used for this purpose which is
available on the server of After Sale Quality Dept.
