It has two coaxial tubes, the inner one has an open


end and the outer one has a closed end. The outer
tube has a small holes on its surface.
The center tube (+) Shows Total Pressure (TP)
The Outer tube (-) Shows Static pressure (SP)
If we connect both tube with manometer it Shows
Velocity pressure (VP)
The measuring point should be in
a straight duct with uniform flow
(5*D before and 2*D after)
