failures of Greater New Orleans’ flood protection system, and the
decision-making during Hurricane Katrina.

The credibility of the Federal Investigation through the IPET is in

question because a high number of participants (80%) were employed
by the Army Corps of Engineers, or sister agency, Army Research and
Development. They were essentially tasked to check their own work.

Tax payers deserve an accurate and fair investigation that Congress

authorizes. The citizens in Southern Louisiana, and all over the United
States of America deserve the best protection possible.
