Why does my

nose run when I

cry?
By: Ethan Schenck and Jordan Kendall

Lets talk about how you cry:

In

your face you have

pathways for water
called lacrimals also
known as tear ducts.
These tear ducts can be
found below your eye.

Tear Ducts

When

your eyes
are irritated or
you are sad
begin to cry
these tear ducts
fill with water and
drain through the
back of your nose
and throat.

As

the water drains through your nose

it mixes with the mucus also known as
boogers and these boogers turn into
wet runny boogers.

And thats why

you have a runny
nose when you
cry!
