OVERVIEW
The study was intended to find out the feasibility to start up a
new branch for Manapuram Financial Services India Pvt limited;
the company is keen to expand its business in the Northern part
of the country.
The study on Cities for Business Friendliness was done based on
observational survey considering the various feasibility factors to
start the business in anyone of the six cities (Faridabad, Gurugram, Noida, Jaipur, Agra and Dehradun) in Northern part of the
Indian country. The factors considered are discussed in detail
under methodology section of this report.
The study was carried out by Mr. Murali, Senior Consultant,
Nielson Consultancy agency, Bengaluru for the Client Company
Manapuram Financial Services India Pvt limited, Cochin and was
submitted to Mr. Joy, Operation head, Manapuram Financial
Services India Pvt limited, Cohin on 15th of July 2016.

METHODOLOGY
The type of research carried out was of descriptive.
Location: The survey was done in the geographical location of
Faridabad, Guru-gram, Noida, Jaipur, Agra and Dehradun situated in
the Northern Part of the Country India.
The sample units considered for this study were Transportation
facility, Educational Facility, Hospital Facility, Security and Facility
for Basic Needs.
Tools for surveying: The tool used for the survey is a questionnaire
with close-ended questions.
Technique for surveying: The survey was carried out by means
observation.
The duration of the survey was about 7-8 days in one city.
The time frame for the research was 8 weeks, hence it is highly
possible that if more time is provided to further on the same area,
more findings can be obtained

FINDINGS
Why: For the expansion of the Business for the Client
Company, Manapuram Financial Services India Pvt limited.
What: Study on finding the best city amongst the six cities
given by the client to start the business.
Who: The study is carried to find out the feasibility for
living of Employees of the company.
When: The study was carried during the month of June
2016.
Where: In the six cities - Faridabad, Guru-gram, Noida,
Jaipur, Agra and Dehradun situated in the Northern Part of
the Country India.
How: Observational Survey.

The city Guru-gram is recommended as the Best city to start the new
business

CONSLUSION
The various aspects as schools, colleges,
transportation facility, availability basic needs,
hospital and security was considered for the
observational study.
Based on the ranking analysis, Guru-gram was
ranked top and emerged as the best city to start
the business amongst the remaining 5 cities
(Faridabad, Noida, Jaipur, Agra and Dehradun).
The city that is recommended and apt to start a
new business in Northern Part of the Country by the
Consultant after thorough study was Guru-Gram.
