Welcome to

First Grade
I look forward to providing your child with an exciting
and educational school year. Here are a few things
you should know before the first day:
School will begin promptly at 8:00. Please make
sure your child is in the classroom each day by
that time or he or she will be marked tardy.
It is important that your child be at school every
day. First graders have a lot to learn and a fastpaced curriculum. If your child is absent, please
send in a note explaining the absence for my
records.
From 9:00-9:50, we will have PE/Art/Music
Our lunch time will be from 11:00-11:30.
From 11:35-12:05, we will have Computer
Lab/Media.
We will have Recess each day, academic
schedule and weather permitting.
We will have a snack time at the end
of each day. Please send one healthy snack with
your child that is quick and easy to open.

with you this school year.
