 Albert Einstein was

born on the 14th of
March 1879 and
died on the 18th of
April 1955.

 Albert Einstein was

born in Germany in
1879. He was the
oldest child and he
had one younger
sister named Maya

 He is known for his

theory of relativity and
his equation E=mc2

 Einstein became
famous after he
published his
theory of
relativity in
1915. He was
awarded the
Nobel Prize for
physics in 1921.

 Einstein first became interested in

science when his father gave him a
compass.

 Einstein
wrote his first
scientific
paper when
he was
sixteen.

 He loved classical music

and played the piano and
violin.

 Even though Einstein didnt

like school, he loved reading
and learning on his own.

 He was offered the presidency of

Israel
He auctioned off a hand written
version of his Theory of Relativity in
1940 for 6 million dollars in order to
help with the war effort.

 He hated war and worked for

peace throughout his life. He
was a pacifist. He supported
the Civil Rights movement in
America.

 Albert experienced speech

problems as a child. His parents
were worried that he wasn't very
smart!
He failed his first try on his
entrance exam for college.
