Terminal 30
Internally jumpered to 20. This is the power supply
connection
Terminal 28
Used when VR3 is connected for single phase sensing.
A jumper must be connected between 20 & 28 .
Sensing lines are connected to 24 & 20

20 22 24 26 28 30 F1 F2

Terminal 26
Not used. Can be used as a tie point for a line to neutral
frequency meter

Terminals 20, 22, 24

Terminals 2 & 3
When the generator is overloaded the VR3 will force the field for 10
seconds.Internal circuits will sense this and stop field excitation. At
this moment a signal of 12 Volts will be present at the terminals 2 &
3. This signal will disappear after the VR3 senses no voltage.

Gain

Terminals 4 & 7
Jumper connections if internal voltage level
potentiometer is used.
Terminals 5 & 6
Connection for a 8 voltage droop potentiometer.
20 22 24 26 28 30 F1 F2

Terminals 6 & 7
Connection points for an external 10K voltage level
potentiometer.(Remove jumper 4-7)
Terminals 8
Used by factory for alignment purposes.
Terminals 9
Available to connect a KVAR controller.

DVR fault codes

There
There is
is 44 classes
classes of
of error
error code
code

SERVERE ERRORS range 900

Indicate a condition which would be dangerous to run the DVR
901 indicates that the internal memory is not functioning properly.
The code will flash on the display, the keypad will be disable.
And the DVR must be replaced
NON-RESETTABLE FAULTS SHUTDOWN range 800
Indicate a condition where the DVR cannot run safely. The generator
continues to operate but derate. The code will flash on the display.
To reset power down the DVR (disconnect the supply)
801- Instantaneous Trip : the DVR detects that the exciter field
current is greater than 28Amps the DVR instantaneously shuts off
the exciter field current.
802- Loss of sensing :the DVR detects that ( one of 20,22,24 terminal)
has been open or shorted
803-Loss of frequency : the DVR detects that there is no AC present
for 200 msec

DVR fault codes

RESATTABLE FAULTS SHUTDOWN range 700
Indicate a situation where the is a degradation of power generation
performance. The generator continues to operate but derate. The code will
flash on the display. To reset the fault go to 96 press the function key the
display will stop flashing witch indicate that the fault has been reset.
701- Under voltage
702- Over voltage

703- Over excitation

704- Loss of excitation

ALARMS range 600

Indicate a situation that will not inhibit the DVR function and the generator.
The generator continues to operate normally. The code will flash on the
display. Alarm fault must be cleared.
601- internal memory failure
602- internal watchdog failure
603- Rotating diode fault
