especially when you take test.
You must able to take good
written notes from what she

 Taking good notes is a three- stage


process ( before, during, after, class).
1. Get ready to take notes (before
class)
 review your previous notes
 complete all assigned readings
 bring all the note taking
materials

2. Take Notes ( During Class)
 focus your attention on what the
teacher is saying
 “signal statements” is important to
write in your notes ( “the most
important point..”, and “ remember
that..”)
 write information that is always
repeating/ writing in the chalkboard
 write quickly to include important
information using abbreviated words,
using symbols as % for percent and
writing short sentences

 examine all visuals ( pictures, table, map,
and/ or graphs and read the caption)
 you will quickly learn what the chapter is
