bones of the skeleton, but when all was
said and done they had found 40% of the
initial makeup of Lucy.

Australopithecus Afarensis lived from around


3.85 and 2.95 million years ago. They lived
primarily in the Eastern Africa region.

Australopithecus had both ape and


human characteristics.

Took a shorter amount of time to reach


adulthood.
Believed to have eaten sweet fruit due
to their teeth, but are assumed to have
eaten lizards.
