Issues
Lack of Business focus in Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India,
Various State Kabaddi Associations

Solution
As per Australian Sports Commission Corporate Structure To suggest Government to have a Corporate Relations team for:
Taking care of Sponsorship, Budgets, Marketing and
Community level engagement.
Professional Handling of the funds, encouraging athletes and
corporations.
Organize events and taking care of operations for the same.

Talent Scouting and Training

Issues

Low awareness of opportunities and career path for Coaches
Scarcity of established private training academies

Solution
Collaboration between SAI, NSFs and Star TV for training coaches (Infrastructure can be
provided government bodies and STAR giving professional coaches)
Build Proper career path & database for Coaches and notify them for the opportunities
available, give them recognition
Opening Public infrastructure to private training academics in lieu of reasonable fees.
Building up Private Training academics, generate revenue from
Selling the players transferring them during various leagues
Academy naming rights by private academy owner

Promoting CSR activities to shed fund for these activities.

World Cup of Kabaddi played in various schools on clay/sand courts

Solution

For eg. Naya Raipur Development Authority is building a sports city in Naya Raipur,
which would have facilities like tennis, aquatic and an indoor stadium along the PPP
model
Jindal Steel Works(JSW) has collaborated with SAI as part of its CSR initiative to
oversee he upgrading and maintenance of infrastructure at SAIs regional training
center in Hisar.

Motivate government to implement existing structures
