shop & customer rejections

quality plan of any child part which includes

Class (SC, CC, KCC, CEC, D/TLD)
Method of Measurement
Quality Standard
Reaction Plan

METHODOLOGY
1. To take hard copies of CPQP and Drawings

To study SC/CC (Significant/Critical Characteristics)


Ensure if all SC/CCs are mentioned in CPQP, if not,
modify CPQP
Check the necessary dimensional parameters,
tolerances & material specifications, if not present
then modify CPQP

2. Take note of customer complaints from shop


and QA

Check whether these complaints are addressed in


CPQP, if not, modify CPQP

3. To take note of internal complaints from shop


and QA

Check whether these complaints are addressed in


CPQP, if not, modify CPQP

CONCLUSIONS

This project was very helpful for control over


rejections. It is concluded that to make CPQP robust,
a through revision is required time to time. Training
should be provided to Quality Inspectors to make
them aware and to capture the non-conformities.
