    Buddhism and Hinduism differ in their founders, views of God, and goals. Buddhism was founded by Siddhartha Gautama and rejects the idea of God, seeking to end human suffering through Nirvana. Hinduism has no single founder and believes in Atman and Brahman as the individual soul and supreme creator. Its goal is Moksha or enlightenment. They also differ in sacred texts, with Buddhism having none and Hinduism using the Vedas and Upanishads, and in their views of the caste system, with Buddhism rejecting it and Hinduism dividing society by strict castes.
