and Research Institute

Who am I?
A civil engineer, a passionate change maker and a youth

activist.

What I want to do?

Convert problems into projects and give its innovative

solutions to create a better future for our nation

How will I do?

By taking such projects and creating impact on society for a

better change

Is waste really an issue?

- Solid waste management has been a global problem and

the traditional or conventional methods are comparatively

slow and having limitations.

- Despite of enormous India has not been able to participate

any of these methods with advantages and economy.

- India second largest nation in the world with population

1.21 billion, nearly 18% of worlds human population.

- Urban population of India is 377 million which is greater

than entire population of US.

What we have been doing till now

-Recycling
-Aerobic composting
-Refused derived fuel
-Waste to energy combustion
-Sanitary landfilling

-Unsanitary landfilling & open

dumping

A REVOLUTION

Fugga Bio Gas

System

Technical Details
The balloon is made up of polymer. In simple words it is

the very high quality of plastic bag which serves as a

biogas chamber. It has great ability to absorb heat and
resist pressure.

It is stretchable thus can expand and compact according

to internal gas pressure. Its black colour makes absorb

more heat and thus the temperature is higher inside the
chamber which accelerates the rate of decomposition of
solids.

The balloon is air tight and all the air from it is been

sucked mechanically.

Inlet is been designed the way that it allows only one way

process of inserting materials in the biogas chamber and

does not let the gas come out from the inlet.

Any biodegradable material or waste can be inserted

inside the composting balloon.

The more
time the
solid
takes to
break the
more gas it
generates.

RT= Retention time in days

TS= Total solids in dry matter

As decomposing of the material starts the gas is been

released and due to that the balloon expands.

The process of composting inside the balloon is an

anaerobic process. Waste broken down by anaerobic

bacteria is 10 to 100 times faster than aerobic bacteria.

The solid is broken in the medium of water and the gas

is generated. The water which is the end product of the

process is the best quality of fertilizers can be applied to
any type of crops. Separate outlets are been provided to
take gas and liquid slurry fertilizer.

Benefits of the innovation

Source segregation
Low cost and effective system
Elimination of collection, transportation and handling cost of

organic waste

Clean energy generation foe free after installation

Slurry fertilizer
can be constructed in all the sizes according to need
All king of biodegradable waste
Transportation of gas or whole system is very easy.

Nature has to tell you.

Some call me nature, other call me mother nature.
I have been here for a four and a half billion years. I don't really
need people but people need me.
Yes your future depends on me.
When I thrive you thrive, when I falter you falter.
But I have been here for eons. I have fed species greater than you
and I have starved species greater than you.
How you choose to live each day whether you regard or disregard
me doesn't really matter to me.
One way or the other your actions will determine your fate not mine.
I am nature, I will go on. I am prepared to evolve, are you?
