This is How Hillary Can

SMASH the Glass

Ceiling!
By: Taeler, Marlee, & Camille

Our Electoral Strategy:

Hillary can win these states

because Democrats have won
these states in previous
presidential election cycles.

Why Hillary Clinton can Win Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania voted Democrat in the past

6 presidential elections.

In addition to that, Hillary won Pennsylvania in the primary.

Why Hillary Can Win Wisconsin

The people of Wisconsin have voted Democrat for the past
presidential election cycles:.

Also, in the 2016 exit polling conducted by CNN, 67% of people

who participated in the Democratic primary said they were
liberal.

Why Hillary Can Win Ohio

The state of Ohio has voted Democrat in the past two presidential
elections.

Hillary also won Ohio in the primary with 56% of the Democratic vote.
Of those Democratic voters, the issue that mattered most to them was
the economy. Hillary is vowing to continue Obamas economic policies.

Why Hillary Can Win Colorado

The state of Colorado voted Democrat for both of President
Obamas elections, and Hillary is campaigning on many of his
ideas.

Why Hillary Can Win Nevada

Nevada voted for Obama in the past two presidential elections and
Hillary is going off of many of his ideas. Hillary won Nevada in the
primary and the population is growing very fast and becoming more
Democratic.

But theres another reason

Hillary can win these states: the
Hispanic vote!

Why Hillary Can Win Colorado

The Hispanic vote is crucial to winning Colorado and with a
Hispanic VP we will have a much better chance at winning.
Hispanics make up 21% of Colorados population which is a lot
of votes. In addition to that, Trump is polling very low with the
Hispanic community. His unfavorables among Hispanic voters is
77% according to a Gallup poll.

How Hillary Can Win Nevada

Nevada is another state where the Hispanic vote is crucial to winning.
Putting a Hispanic VP on the ticket gives us a good chance of winning.
Hispanics makes up 27% of Nevadas population which are a lot of votes
needed to win. Also, Trump does not have a good history with the
Hispanic community so he is polling low with them.

What we didnt Choose...

New Hampshire- Hillary didnt win the New Hampshire primary,
but they have voted Democrat for the past three presidential
elections so it is not in our best interest to spend a lot of money
here.
Florida- Hillary won the primary in Florida and they have voted
Democrat in the past two elections so it is not in our best interest to
spend much money here.
North Carolina- Did not vote Republican in the last election and
voted in a Republican for mayor.
Virginia- Hillary won the Virginia primary and Virginia has voted
Democrat in the past two elections so it does not make much sense.

Vice Presidential Selection:

Were choosing Julian Castro!

Vice President: Julian Castro, Secretary of

HUD
We plan to make the announcement in Colorado
because the Hispanic community is crucial to
winning Colorado.
He has spent his entire life in the world of politics.
Julian grew up surrounded by activists who were
using their voice to express their ideas. His mother
is the founder of the famous political party La Raza
Unida. Julian Castro is an asset to our team. We
need the new and fresh ideas of a young politician
so that the voices of all generations will be heard.
Julian works hard to help people as the secretary of
H.U.D. and he worked hard as the mayor of San
Antonio. I am sure he would work hard to help this

40 years old
