research methods and research findings

When developing a service plan with Adult

Protective Services it is important to make
sure the goal is measureable and can be
obtained within a time frame. Use research
evidence to inform clients and practice of
diagnosis and service plans. It is important
in APS to understand quantitative and
qualitative to build professional knowledge
and client benefits.

Use and translate research evidence to

inform and improve practice, policy, and
service delivery.

Informing the adult on

programs that will help
meet their needs and
goals while allowing
them to be independent
is important in social
work. In APS having
knowledge of the
existing information of
the client to determine if
they meet the needs of
APS.

If they meet the

needs and
requirements develop
a summary with
results of the adult by
focusing on the target
of how APS can assist
them. Use policy and
