What it does:
HimalayaMen Intense Oil Clear Lemon Face
Washis a soap-free, herbal formulation that
gently cleanses your face and removes excess oil. It
is enriched with Lemon and Indian Willow which help
clear excess oil, impurities and pollutants.
It is powered with Active Boost Technology that
increases the penetration of actives and helps in the
rapid action of herbs.

Contains 3 surfactants along with other ingredients like Preservatives,

Antioxidants, pH adjusters, Chelating agent etc.
In addition to the above synthetic materials it also features natural
ingredients like Lemon Peel Extract, Piper Nigrum Fruit Extract, Indian Willow
Bark Extract.

 Vetiver root extract: Antiseptic and is effective in preventing acne

Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate: Mild but effective surfactant
Jojoba seed oil: Only oil that closely resembles human sebum. Used for its
emollient properties.
Salicylic acid : Keratolytic
Cedarwood: Antifungal, Antiseptic, Astringent
Lavender and Patchouli Essential oil blend: Reduce the appearance of
wrinkles, scars, or general skin problems.
Potassium sorbate: Preservative
Holy basil leaf extract: Antioxidant, Contains linoleic acid which are
beneficial for skin
Guar gum: thickener, emulsifier, stabilizer
Liquorice leaf extract: Skin lightening ayurvedic herb

Method Of Manufacture
Procedure:
1. Add the primary surfactant to the main batch vessel.
2. In a separate vessel, pre-mix Rheology modifier in deionized water.
3. With good mixing, slowly add the pre-mix and water to the main vessel containing
the primary surfactant.
4. Neutralize the batch with Sodium Hydroxide, adjusting the pH to 6.8.
5. Add foam boosters/surfactants to the main batch.
6. In a separate vessel pre-mix the remaining surfactant,deionized water, humectant
and Actives like salicylic acid. Slowly add this pre-mix of ingredients to the main batch.
Mix until uniform.
7. Add the conditioners, botanical extracts, humectant to the batch in order. Mix until
uniform.
8. Add the citric acid (50%) to the batch, adjust the pH to 3.8 4.2.
9. De-aerate the final batch and then carefully add the beads.

Packaging

 Containers for both the genders remain the same i.e.

plastic squeezy bottles.
Facewash meant for males have masculine dark colored
containers.
Whereas Facewash meant for females have bright
colorful containers.
