Introduction
This case is about Universal Food
Products Company whose President
is Mr. Singh and he is only
responsible for companys profit.
There are six Vice Presidents
responsible for six different
departments.
There is lack of coordination between
six Vice Presidents and their
departments.

Problem Identification
Different vice-presidents are not
contributing in companies profit.
Lack of coordination among different
departments.
Segmentation is not feasible because of
non availability of finance and raw
materials.
If Mr. Singh introduces the product
manager system, there will be a problem in
reporting relationship.

Here in this case we have suggested

we think is suitable for this situation.
Hierarchy system was first
introduced by Mr. weber, who talked
about different position of individual
in the organization and their roles
and responsibility in the organization.

Coordination is necessary for better
functioning of an organization.
Every individual in an organization
should be aware of his/her roles and
responsibilities.
Hierarchy structure should be chosen
on the basis of the vision and the
culture of the organization.
