INTRODUCTION ABOUT CEMENT

DEFINITION :- It is a fine grayish powder which

,when mixed with water , forms a thick paste

is mixed with sand and gravel and allowed to
dry it is called concrete.
NON HYDROLIC CEMENT :- It will not set in
wet conditions or undrwater ; rather , it sets
as it dries and reacts with carbon dioxide.
HYDROLIC CEMENT :- (e.g..-Portlant Cement)
set and become adhesive due to a chemical
reaction between dry ingredients and water.

BY THE PLANT
These are the various products manufactured by the plant O.P.C.(Ordinary Portland Cement) : No constituent

other than Clinkers and Gypsum is introduced in the

manufacturing process , it is available in 43 grade and 53
grade in accordance with respective compressive strength.
P.P.C. ( Portland Pozzolana Cement) : This product contains a

certain quantity of Fly Ash as an additive along with gypsum.

MINES CRUSHER :- Crusher is a

machine designed to reduce large

r0cks into smaller rocks , gravel ,
or rock dust .

STACKER :- A stacker there is an another

crusher which is used to separate some small

size raw material for testing purpose . It will
rotate in the time period of 7 to 8 minute.

RECLAIMER :- A Reclaimer is a large machine

used
in bulk material handling applications . A
Reclaimers function is to recover or loose
bulk material such as ores and cereals from a
stockpile.

RAW MILL
A Raw Mill is the equipment used to grind raw

material into raw mix during the

manufacturing of cement .
Raw mix is then feed to a
cement kiln , which is then
ground to make cement in
the cement mill.

KILN

Cement kiln are used for the pyro processing stage

of manufacturing of portland and other types of

hydraulic cement , in which calcium carbonate
reacts with silica ,bearing minerals to form a
mixture of calcium silicates.

WAGON TRIPLER AND

CSR

WAGON AND TRIPLER:-This is an automatic

mechanical machine which is use to unloaded the

loaded wagon by automatic computerized
controlling system.

CSR (Circular Stacker and Reclaimer) :-

This is the same

process of linear stacker and reclaimer but according to word
circular as stacker and reclaimer both are working at single axis.

CEMENT MILL

CEMENT MILL :- Cement mill is the equipment used

to grind the hard , nodular clinker from the cement

kiln into the fine grey powder that is cement .
Most cement is currently ground in ball mill and also
vertical roller mills which are most effective than ball
mills.

PACKING PLANT
Cement extracted from silos is

conveyed to the automatic

electronic packers where
it is packed in 50 kgs.
polythene bags and
dispatched in trucks and
wagons.

WORK SHOP

LUBRICATION CELL

This is used for coolant and to free from

friction then they have use Oil ,Grease and

Lubricant.
