Antenna Installation
Applies to

Ceragon
Cambium
Ubiquity
Solectek
Infinet

Position of antenna on pole at height with best LOS between transmitter and receiver
Pole/bracket dimension to tally with antenna clamp size (e.g. 2)
Guide to be used where required, depending on antenna size/weight (e.g. antenna 4ft for microwave)
Antenna Tilt and Azimuth to be implemented as per link engineering report and RF measurement during
alignment process
Antenna separation between antennas on same pole
Grounding of Antenna (where applicable)
Antenna stability must be checked i.e. no swaying or moving due to wind. This will affect the RF
performance
NOTE: Always refer to specific antenna manual/installation guide as this will vary on the supplier/antenna
make/model

Cabling for Antenna

Ethernet Cabling Applies to PTP/PTMP 5GHz and compact/all outdoor
