    Literally no work piece leaves the machine shop without having a hole made in
    it.

    DRILLING
    Drilling is the process of originating holes in the work piece by
    using a rotating cutter called drill. The machine used for this
    purpose is called drilling machine.
    As the machine tool exerts vertical pressure to originate a hole
    it is also called drill press.

    Types of drilling machine


    The different types of drilling machine which are most commonly used are:

    Portable drilling machine.

    Sensitive drilling machine

    Upright drilling machine

    Radial drilling machine

    Gang drilling machine.

    Multiple spindle drilling machine.
