Apply understanding of social, economic, and

environmental justice to advocate for human


rights at the individual and system levels.
Example: We provide a safe environment at

the office for clients who are homeless or


fleeing domestic violence and encourage
them to file paperwork as necessary
(DVPO/restraining order) as well as shelter for
them and their children(under 18)

Engage in practices that advance social,

economic, and environmental justice.


Example: We see that our clients who do seek

protection against their abusers do go to court


as well as creating a paper trail of using our
services and dates of possible incidents and
photos is physical abuse is present

Example: Create spreadsheets of grant money

spent to assist clients in rapid-rehousing and


keep track of phone calls (referrals, crisis
calls, shelter intake etc.)

and improve practice, policy, and service


delivery.
Example: Becoming familiar with grant

policies as well as handbook policies to ensure


we meet state requirements for the best
service delivery to clients
