about a great day at
Botanic Garden.

Do you know what is a Botanic

Garden?
A botanic garden is a garden dedicated to the collection, cultivation and
display of a wide range of plants labelled with their botanical names.

We visited the garden located in university city, boulevard

Suyapa.

This is Jos. He was

our guide and show
us different topics of
the site.
He said this plant is call
Mint (Menta), like the
chewing gum.

Did you know that plants have two

names?
Yes. Plants have two name, a common name and a
scientific name.
For example:

Common name: Chinese Aloe (sbila)

Scientific name: aloe Vera.

After, we saw a special

place
There were many animals
but no any animals
dissected animals.

For example, snakes, a cusuco, an

anteater, an ocelot and a guacamayo.

But that is not all

There were fetuses,
it was exciting

It was a amazing journey.
