Client is currently homeless and a

victim of domestic violence trying to
flee her abuser with no place to go.
Abuser is her childrens father, whom
she has been with for 10 years.

Assessment Goals

Client would like to find a place of her

own that suits her and her four children
before she has the baby at the end of
november. She would like to become
more stable and find work after having
the baby and perhaps get her own
transportation. Her overall goal is to
keep striving to have her own stuff so
no one can take that away.

Biases

No known biases going into this

interview.
Some Value differences was that I am
surrounded by family and friends while
she doesnt have that in her life. Also,
The fact that she is very young but
currently has 4 children with a 5th one
on the way.

Life Experiences

The clients life experiences that has

shaped her into the person she is today
is having children and trying to flee
domestic violence. She got tired of
arguing and being beat and not having
anywhere to go so once he was
arrested and locked up she decided it
was time to get herself together.

Staff Recommendations

Our supervisors best recommendation

is to empower the client to strive for
what they want. The staff recommends
she applies for housing, assistance for
daycare, and continue to flee domestic
violence.

Diagnosis: Was being absued by the

father of her children whom she was
with for 10 years
Problem: Had to leave him and by
doing that it made her homeless
Treatment: Counceling, Rapid ReHousing
