There was a language barrier.
The owner of the bakery said he has never experienced any
crime/robberies at his location.
Predominantly hispanics are who come to this particular bakery.
The owner mentioned his busiest time is on weekends when they
serve traditional Mexican cuisine.
Overall, the food was delicious and a must try!

Neal Recreational Center


Employees reported that they are busiest after school hours
and during school holidays.
During school holidays, the biggest concern the employees
expressed was the children going without breakfast,
lunch, and sometimes dinner. Many children often
showed up without money to purchase meals or snacks.

Neal park was formerly known as Williams Park. In 1989, the city of Bryan renovated the
park, and changed its name to Neal park.

During school dismissal, there is very little


car/bus traffic.
Crossing guards are stationed at each
corner to ensure that students and
parents cross the street safely.
Because there are no sidewalks, people walked
in the street with their children.
MLK is only street in the neighborhood that is on
the Red Route for the The District
transportation.
