WHAT IS GREEN HOUSE

A greenhouse is a structure with walls and roof

made chiefly of transparent material, such as
glass, in which plants requiring regulated
climatic conditions are grown.
The greenhouse effect is the process by which
radiation from a planet's atmosphere warms the
planet's surface to a temperature above what it
would be without its atmosphere.

FACTOR AFFECTING GROWTH

There are different factor which can affect the growth

of a plant.these areLight
Temprature
Water
Humidity
Oxigen & Carbon Dioxide
Acidity / PH level
Carbon nutrition

PROJECT INTRODUCTION

The proposed system is an embedded system which

will closely monitor and control the climate
parameters (temprature, light, humidity, soil
moisture) of a green house for cultivation of crops
or specific plant species which could maximize their
production over the whole crop growth , to
eliminate the difficulties involved in the system by
reducing human intervention and control the output
appliances like- cooler , dehumidifier, pump, lamp
etc.

Relay
Light Sensor
Humidity Sensor
Temperature Sensor
Soil Moisture Sensor

APPLICATIONS AND ADVANTAGES

It can be used in green houses to control the

temperature and light for the proper growth of plants.
With little modification, this project can be used in
Mechanical companies to measure various parameters
of operating machines like temperature and light.
Temperature monitoring and controlling action can be
used in home or various halls like conference room,
seminar hall to control the temperature of room

DISADVANTAGE

Complete automation in terms of pest and insects

detection and eradication cannot be achieved.

No self system to detect malfunction of sensors.

Requires uninterrupted power supply.

Facility to remotely monitor the greenhouse is not

possible.

FUTURE DEVELOPMENT

We can monitor more parameters like Humidity, PH

of soil, pressure, water level and at the same time
control them.

We can send this data to a remote location using

mobile or internet.

We can draw graphs of variations in these parameters

using computer.
