Endnote make managing bibliographic record easy!

Endnote is compatible with a variety of word
processors.
References can be imported or searched directly on
the internet.
It is easy to change bibliographic styles using
endnote.

Preparation for using EndNote

Install Endnote soft ware

Create a folder i.e Reference in drive D/E:

The folder is a place to save Library file, PDF
file with formatting Author_Year Titile

Getting started with Endnote

Click on the star bottom

Go to programs
Go to Endnote
Click on Endnote program
Create new endNote file: file new- name file save

Citing references and creating

bibliographies using word

Open your document in Word

Position the cursor where you intend to insert the
citation in the paper
Select go to Endnote from the Word tools menu
Locate the citation in Endnote go to cite while you
write from the endnote tools menu select insert
selected citation.

Ctrl + Click

When you have finished inserting citations, save the

document in Word.
Select format Bibliography from the word tool menu
Endnote will format the citations and create a bibliography
for the paper.
