Music and Me

John Matthew M. Macalinao

L4B -Wordlit

When the music starts

All my worries are gone
The strum of the guitar
And the beat of the drum
The tolling of the bell
In the church nearby
And the conversation of the passers-by
Their sounds lift my spirit
And give rest to my weary soul.

The rustling of the leaves in the

forest
And the calm breeze touching my
face.
The laughter of my friends
As we climb he mountains and
trees
Memories that I always remember.

The soothing voice of mentors

And my familys kind words
They are a harmony together
Like music, I always keep in my
mind.

The rushing of the river

And the splash of the waves
Nymphs who swim in the
Clear water of the sea.
Who haunt me in my dream
And continue to enchant me.
Dear God, Thank you
This timeless beauty.
