This shift involves the Tight End Only
The Tight End breaks the huddle and aligns
opposite from where he will end up
On SHIFT command, he will change sides

Trade to 100

SWAP TO
This shift involves the Halfbacks only
Both halfbacks align in the position opposite of what
they will end up in (Ex: Diveback aligns as
Wingback and vice versa)
On SHIFT command, they will shift to actual
position

Swap to 100

SLIDE TO
This shift is a combination of the Trade To and
Swap To shifts
This shift involves the Tight End and the Halfbacks
Both halfbacks align in the position opposite of what
they will end up in (Ex: Diveback aligns as
Wingback and vice versa)
The Tight End aligns on the opposite side of where
he should end up
On SHIFT command, they will shift to actual
position

SLIDE TO 100

This shift involves one Halfback only
This shift is used to shift from a 100/900 formation to
its Doubles equivalent
On SHIFT command, the diveback will shift to a
wingback position

Jump to Doubles 100

This shift involves the Ends and the Halfbacks
Both halfbacks align in the position opposite of what
they will end up in (Ex: Diveback aligns as
Wingback and vice versa)
Both Ends align in the position opposite of what they
will end up in (Ex: Tight End aligns as Split End and
vice versa)
On SHIFT command, they will shift to actual
position
