VALVES
Control the blood flow and
prevent the mixing of blood

back.

DEOXYGENATED BLOOD

Pumped from the


right ventricle of the
heart to the lungs.

OXYGENATED BLOOD
It is returned to the left ventricle
through the pulmonary veins and
pumped to the different parts of the
body through the aorta that
branches out into arterial tributaries.

PACEMAKER
A specialized region in the
heart that makes sure that
the heart never skips a beat.
It maintains the normal
rhythm of the heart.

It transports blood between
