DemographicS
Most of the residents of the community
are Hispanic or African American.
Most of the business owners,
employers, teachers, etc. are white.
The school, Crockett Elementary, is
made up of at least 40% students with
low socioeconomic status.

Types of Housing
Mainly older homes built
between the 1940s and 1970s.
Some newer homes have
recently been built across from
the school. Construction is
underway for three new homes
as well.
